Currently working with Walmart Global Tech on innovating the ways for America to Save Money and Live Better. Before that, I enjoyed an 8-year career as a Project Manager Scrum Master and Business Analyst with one of the leading firms in the Secondary Mortgage Market, where I led several projects throughout the software development life cycle from project kick-off to product launch. Through that work, I developed comprehensive skills in business process improvement, scrum project management, agile development, cross-functional collaboration, and aligning different projects as per the program. Prior to the above role, I spent a few years working as a research assistant, analyzing satellite data and conducting research on space weather and air quality. My background in scientific research helped me develop a detail-oriented analytically focused working style where I learned not to be afraid of diving deep into complex issues and how to always keep a positive and motivated spirit even in difficult situations. • Worked with Single Security Program Management Office (PMO), development director, and product owners to manage change requests, to analyze their impacts on the budget and refine business requirements. • Played a scrum master role from iteration 0 in assisting environment set-up and project planning. Coached team of 12 developers and 5 testers to improve collaboration and implement agile best practices. • Organized and facilitated sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, iteration reviews, retrospectives, release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings. • Facilitated Joint Application Development sessions with product owners and IT team to gather requirements and groom the product backlog. • Worked with the product owner to interpret business needs and translate them into business requirements. • Participated in over 40 successful deployments under 6 releases covering 7 different applications. • Worked on FRE-CSP Interface Mapping activity where CSS (Common Securitization Solutions) defined Interfaces were analyzed to complete the Freddie Mac source mapping for the data elements. • Verified incoming data was correctly mapped in system databases by writing SQL queries to analyze data integrity. • Complete view of data elements within Freddie Mac was covered in the mapping activity in terms of identifying Physical Sources, analyzing CDM 6.0/6.1 and MISMO 3.0 mapping, Loan APP and Post Funding data elements identification and addition. • Documented gathered requirements as Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in Version One and Rational DOORs. • Prepared UAT materials including UAT Test Summary Result documents that would include step-by step process for UAT as well as all the test cases to cover the requirements. • Developed use case diagrams and activity diagrams using Visio for knowledge transfer material. • Worked with the stakeholders to refine the requirements and to create a Business Requirement Document (BRD) and System Requirement Specification (SRS). • Performed the GAP analysis and created Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM). • Gained extensive experience in working with development team and coordinating with several testing teams which included SIT, UAT, automation testing, internal and external CSP integration teams for Freddie Mac applications, including integration teams from Common Securitization Solutions (CSS). • Utilized customer-centric metrics to develop a high-level enhancement for the Freddie Mac Settlement System. • Drove enhancements for the Freddie Mac Settlement Dashboard automated reconciliation feature that reduced time spend per security from 4hrs to 5mins.
● Gathered requirements with university-assigned advisors to supplement the project need as per ND department of commerce. ● Analyzed satellite data, and conducted thorough research and literature review to understand the concepts and business impacts of Radio Occultation. ● Created and presented multiple reports, charts, and imagery to support the hypothesis and defended the thesis.
● Analyzed satellite data to study NO2 & CO emission and aerosol optical depth from two counties. ● Prepared tutorials, presentations, charts, dashboards, and promotional videos for the project and met the deadlines.
