Kait Stapp is a freelance audio technician who is passionate about live events, theatre, and film... She loves it all! She prioritizes working in a melting pot of people she can connect with and create art that represents new perspectives, new narratives, and new design techniques. Audio engineering and design has been a passion of Kait's since high school. Being a fan of live music, a member of the high school band, and playing music in her free time, sound and music were a huge part of her life growing up. After a band trip where she saw her first musical, Les Miserables, she fell in love with sound design and has sought to create a unique mix and soundscape for every straight play, musical, and live event she works on. Kait is a recent graduate from the Helmerich School of Drama at the University of Oklahoma (BFA Drama: Design, Sound & Lighting) and is ready to continue learning, growing, and flourishing within any space.
