I administer the operational databases that runs the Epic software for clients hosted by Epic. Our team works to maximize uptime and optimize performance for Epic users while administering these systems at scale.
I manage all-around technical support of Epic for a large academic medical center.
I help healthcare systems set up and maintain their electronic medical record databases, focusing on the InterSystems IRIS database and the underlying UNIX platform. My work includes helping customers prevent and mitigate server outages and optimizing the system to support demanding workflows.

Upward Bound aims to help prospective first-generation college students develop the skills necessary to apply to and excel in college. I tutored students in a study hall once a week and gave closer attention to 2-3 students in Saturday morning study sessions.
I created a computational model for tumor growth using MATLAB and presented my research at a undergraduate research conference in Pierre, SD.
I wrote curriculum for science and technology summer camps and after school programs aimed at students from grades 4-10. So far this year I have helped developed an energy themed day camp and after school programs to teach electronics and programming through the Arduino microcontroller. In past years, I was a counselor at some of Discover Technology summer camps where we taught subjects from Lego robots with Mindstorms to Arduino-based robots to physics.
