EconSight AG is a Switzerland-based technology intelligence company specializing in advanced patent analytics and AI-driven innovation assessment. EconSight has developed a proprietary taxonomy of more than 10,000 patent-based technologies, and a patent-scoring system (“World Class Patents”) to assess technological performance, competitive positioning, and innovation quality across industries and markets. EconSight provides structured, quantitative technology insights to corporates, investors, financial institutions, startups, and policymakers. Its analyses support applications such as corporate strategy, competitive assessment, investment target identification for venture capital and private equity, patent-based thematic ETFs, and technology trend analysis. Responsible for strategic topics and project development such as the establishment of the business consulting division at BAK, development of a new technology analysis approach to assess global research activities of countries, regions and companies and the design of an innovative risk assessment approach for forecasts and scenarios. Project management for studies on the importance of the bilateral treaties between Switzerland and the EU for the state secretariat for economic affairs and Swissmem, on the analysis and evaluation of Switzerland's free trade agreements for the Swiss Parliament, on the importance of digitization for the state secretariat for education and research, and on technology analyses for international metropolitan regions such as the Greater Zurich Area or Hesse.
Head of the Business Unit "Economics, Society, State". Overall responsibility for the analysis of the major trends, the resulting forecasts and the assessment of the impacts on countries, markets, sectors, politics and society. Responsible for the 40 employees of the business unit, business management, strategic development, customer acquisition, key account management, communication with customers, media and the general public at press conferences, events, panel discussions, TV, radio and the print media.
