I am a 2020 BBM graduate at Lee Kong Chian School of Business (Singapore Management University), with a double major in Marketing and Strategic Management. In university, I focused my academic coursework on strategic planning, innovative business design, CRM, retail marketing as well as design thinking. My career interests lie at the nexus of innovative marketing and business strategy. I am particularly interested in the role that design thinking plays in redefining marketing problems and creating new and innovative user-based solutions. I am passionate about integrated marketing that is customer-facing and I have been fortunate enough to pursue relevant opportunities at Grab where I took on a Regional Loyalty Marketing role. Furthermore, my background in visual arts has undoubtedly enhanced my ability to be creative, visualise multiple solutions, employ original thoughts, and sculpt my imagination into reality. I believe that my love for creating art has benefited me further than the field of fine arts such as famously quoted: "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.” In a nutshell, my passion for creativity and willingness to embrace experimentation and risk-taking is accompanied by years of trained strategic thinking and experience in implementing marketing plans.
