I am passionate about making cities work for the people who live in them. I am a value-driven urban designer with extensive experience in managing complex, large-scale projects and conducting spatial analyses.
Manufacturing Cities Stadtentwicklung & Beratung initiates, develops and implements infrastructure to promote local economy. The use of existing resources and activation of existing and new producers is at the forefront of each project. By infrastructure we understand spatial analyses of urban spaces and private properties, intensification studies, workshops for the cooperative development of visions and mission statements, strategic and integrated urban development concepts, master plans and the implementation of temporary interventions.
Offering guided tours on sustainable architecture and urban development processes in Hamburg as well as lectures about completed projects and guest criticism in the scientific context.
Working in the programme Sustainable Development of Urban Regions (SURE) with a focus on East- and South-East Asia. The programme is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
