Over the past 10+ years, I have gathered profound experiences within the following areas of activity: • Corporate Innovation: Built-up and scaling of innovative business models in close partnership with leading tech start-ups from within a corporate position. • Corporate Foresight: Application of trend analysis tools and scenario technique aiming at optimally positioning a company for uncertain future developments. • Sustainability Management: Development and execution of strategies for entering into “green energy markets” (e.g., hydrogen economy) as well as reporting of sustainability indicators to relevant stakeholders. • Project Management: Frequent use of classical PMO methods (e.g., waterfall models) as well as agile management tools like SCRUM within several (mainly consulting) projects for over more than 5 years. Responsibilities included: • Established and managed the Corporate Development department with disciplinary and functional responsibility for employees • Designed and implemented a new strategy to position HGK Group in the regional and national hydrogen economy • Designed, developed and implemented of a new project management process within HGK AG, including adaptation and successful introduction

Responsibilities included: • Established a new open innovation platform called “Innovation Harbour Cologne”, including the development, scaling, and investment in innovative and sustainable business models along HGK´s supply chain • Developed and implemented of a comprehensive sustainability strategy consisting of an overarching mission statement for the holding company and detailed targets derived from this for the subsidiaries
Senior Innovation Manager within the Open Innovation department at Deutsche Bahn AG. Responsibilities included: • Lead of joint business development projects within Beyond1435 innovation platform, consisting of tech start-ups, DB business units (such as DB Station & Service) and selected industrial companies (such as Bombardier Transportation, Siemens Mobility and Swiss Federal Railways) • Managed two central development projects for testing and implementing new technologies outside Deutsche Bahn's core business, with a focus on “autonomous mobility”
