Hello! I'm Kadiz, a Year 3 student currently pursuing my studies at Singapore Polytechnic, I'm dedicated to honing my skills in CAD software, prototyping, and production processes. My journey here has ignited a passion for the intricacies of design and manufacturing, where creativity meets precision to bring ideas to life. With an interest in innovation and sustainability, I'm driven by the desire to create impactful solutions that benefit society. To broaden my industry perspective, I am currently taking an industrial engineering elective, which is enhancing my understanding of efficient systems and processes in manufacturing. - Interpreted aerospace tooling technical drawings to create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and part-marking drawings using GStarCAD. - Determined appropriate material selection, surface treatments, and manufacturing processes based on design requirements and industry standards. - Issued quality alerts to customers when non-conformities were identified, ensuring clear communication and corrective action. - Supported the Purchasing Department by generating purchase orders for standard parts using BOMs and coordinating with multiple suppliers to ensure timely procurement. - Ongoing CDIO (Conceive–Design–Implement–Operate) project during the internship to improve internal workflows by developing an Excel VBA automation tool that standardized engineering formats and significantly enhanced efficiency and consistency across the engineering team.
