Los Angeles Metropolitan Area
Hello! My name is Kathy Lam and I am a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Southern California currently majoring in Human Biology with an emphasis on Health and Disease and minoring in Global Health. I am pursuing a career in medicine with an interest in helping eradicate the health disparities amongst minorities, specifically within the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) community. This includes language, cultural, health literacy, and other barriers that minorities, low-income, and underrepresented individuals face daily in healthcare settings. Thus, I am constantly looking for opportunities to further my passion in healthcare equity via research, community involvement, and clinical experience in the health industry. Feel free to chat with me via direct message or email at [email protected] :)
