As a senior product researcher I am responsible for driving several project initiatives from cradle to market success. My role is to lead the project within the R&D department whilst maintaining the link towards the marketing community. As such, my daily work consists out of technical, but also commercial tasks. These include screening of highly innovative technologies among consumers whilst leading project management and task tracking within R&D. All this is done in compliance with strict product quality measures. In parallel, I closely collaborate with the marketing project manager to ensure a holistic product proposition that answers the needs of the target consumer. Over the past 2 years I have been involved in globally focused (Latin America and Asia) and regionally focused (Russia) projects for the Fabric Enhancer business.
As a researcher I was responsible for the technical and consumer screening of highly innovative technologies. My daily work consisted of translating consumer needs into technical opportunities, closely collaborating with expert technologists to design and technically screen new prototypes answering these consumer needs, and finally qualifying the final prototypes among consumers to assess the market potential. During the 3 years as a researcher I was involved in numerous projects for Western Europe, which have led to great market success, such as the launch of Fairy fabric softener in UK, the revamp of Lenor Stayfresh in Western Europe and the introduction of Perfume Micro Capsules in Lenor across Europe.
