- Engineered a MATLAB GUI in under 10 weeks, automating hardware control of FTIR optical systems, interfacing with HeNe and Terahertz Quantum Cascade Lasers - Implemented Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms, such as noise-reduction averaging and Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT), to process raw interferogram data into analyzable frequency spectra - Authored and presented a research poster, technical presentation, and abstract about project methodology and results, published in UCLA’s annual Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) Research Journal
- Designed a custom PCB for an automated, maze-solving robot within KiCAD - Integrated a breath-first search algorithm (BFS) in C on an STM32 microcontroller - Incorporated IR sensors and motor controllers and practiced surface mount soldering
