    UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Legacy Programme, Brighton & Hove Overseeing the host city project delivery plan for Brighton & Hove, funded by Sport England. Creating opportunities for women and non-binary people ages 16+ to get involved in recreational football, using the tournament as a driving force. My role was housed at AITC and involved liaising and collaborating with multiple stakeholders including The FA, Sussex County FA, facility partners, local authorities, active partnerships, professional and grassroots clubs. Other responsibilities included: Budget management, producing SLA’s, regular monitoring & evaluation reporting, marketing, case study submissions Over the initial 18 month project, we engaged over 800 women through participation and paid/voluntary workforce opportunities. Opportunities created: • Two fully funded health programmes. • Four new walking football sessions. • Six new small-sided ‘turn up and play’ sessions. • Showcase events at the official tournament roadshow and fan party. • Signposting events for players, coaches and volunteers in the women’s game. • Festivals hosting a variety of soccercise, walking football and small-sided football. • Fully funded coaching qualifications for people from historically underrepresented groups.
