About

Justina Shaw received her M.S. in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Eastern University, Philadelphia, PA in 2010 and received her BA in Sociology, Business, and Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee, WI in 2006. In addition, she was awarded the Graduate of the Last Decade Award in 2010 also from Cardinal Stritch. Ms. Shaw supports social entrepreneurs, nonprofit founders, and executives by securing strategic partnerships, providing strategic direction, tactical implementation, and the best tools to help each social enterprise deliver services efficiently. She is founder and President of OPPORTUNITIES-PA, a nonprofit organization (est. 2008) which provides education scholarships and housing stipends to homeless Philadelphia young adults. She is the co-owner of In-Kindness (est. 2014) which provides a simple and smart solution for nonprofit silent auctions and she is the Business Strategist and Owner of Just Act Strategy (est. 2012). Ms. Shaw has also received numerous awards for her civic engagement activities, including a National President’s Volunteer Service Award in both 2004 and 2006. And in 2006, she received a Dr. Martin Luther King Peacemaker Award. Ms. Shaw has traveled internationally and supported communities in Mexico, Cameroon, Uganda, and Nigeria, and she has assisted young entrepreneurs in England. She is passionate about creating sustainable organizations around the world.
