I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literature (1998) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (2003). I began my career in education, teaching English and Literature from 2001 to 2003. I subsequently transitioned into public service in Nigeria, where I worked in personnel administration from 2003 to 2006, preparing official documentation and drafting memoranda related to teachers’ promotions at the state level. I later served as an Executive Assistant at the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development from 2006 to 2011. In this role, I conducted research and produced a wide range of policy and advocacy documents. I was actively involved in United Nations–aligned initiatives focusing on vulnerable children and the girl-child, gender-based violence, universal education, human trafficking, skills acquisition, women’s empowerment, and adoption services. I also served as a State Liaison Officer for NGOs and faith-based organizations. From 2011 to 2017, I worked as a Public Relations Officer for the State Board for Technical and Vocational Education. My responsibilities included drafting communications to donor agencies and government bodies, engaging with communities and media outlets, and editing institutional journals and publications. I also wrote speeches for elected members of the House of Assembly, Commissioners, and the former First Lady of Edo State. During this period, I was a member of the State Action Committee on People Living with HIV/AIDS and was elected Chapter Chairman of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (BTVE, Edo State) from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in my career, I briefly served as an Assistant Manager at Ocean Marine Securities Ltd. in Port Harcourt, where I gained valuable experience in facility management and procurement. I have successfully completed professional examinations with the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), the Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (IPAN), and the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON). More recently, I earned a certificate in Management Essentials from Harvard Business School Online (March 2022). Currently, I work as a Residential Counselor and as a Real Estate Professional with Jacob Realty, powered by Boston Pads, in Boston, Massachusetts. I also manage my own cleaning business, applying strong organizational, communication, and client service skills across my professional engagements. I combine professionalism, attention to detail, and a people-first approach to deliver results that make a meaningful difference.
After 4 rewarding years with CRJ and 10 years with DDS, I’m officially stepping into an exciting new chapter—focusing full-time on my real estate career with Jacob Realty, powered by Boston Pads.
