Advanced Therapy Scientist with a parallel experience in both Biotech Industry and Academia Expertise: mRNA Tx and CRISPR Tx IND: 1 (Phase-2); Publications: 35; Patents: 10; Books: 2
Our team is primarily working in the field of Gene therapy for β- hemoglobinopathies, cancer immunotherapy, and rare diseases including metachromatic leukodystrophy and immunodeficiency. Our technologies include CRISPR, AAV and LV.
Worked on Respiratory disease mouse models including cystic fibrosis, SP-B deficiency and Asthma. The mRNA mediated transcript supplementation and CRISPR mediated gene correction was my major focus. I also performed different immunological assays, lung function, NGS and other molecular biology techniques. ERC team of Prof. Michael Kormann For more details visit : www.kormann-lab.de
Performed genetic association studies in case control study group. My doctoral thesis focused on investigating the differential role of lectin pathway proteins in intracellular (visceral leishmanisis) and extracellular (urinary schistosomiasis) parasitic infections. My PhD thesis published as a book and available in Amazon (https://www.amazon.de/Human-Lectins-Parasitic-Infections-Friend/dp/3659837261/ref=sr_1_1?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&dchild=1&keywords=justin+s+antony&qid=1595845440&sr=8-1).
