Seattle, Washington, United States
Hello! My name is Justin Ridens and I have many years of recruiting experience primarily in the tech space. I started my career working in agencies and eventually moved my way into corporate tech recruiting. I have a blend of experience recruiting tech roles for AI, SaaS and retail companies (public and startup). Currently I work at Moveworks, the industry leading AI Assistant platform for automating employee support that allows employees to search information, automate tasks, and create content with generative AI. Aside from that, I love to travel, cook, golf, and play video/board games with friends. I live with my lovely wife Heather in Seattle, WA.
Recruiting for a wide variety of roles in Machine Learning, Software Engineering, PreSales, and Security/IT!
Supported recruiting for Movework’s security engineering and IT teams. Hit the ground running and helped build out both teams essentially from scratch. Met with stakeholders on a weekly basis to develop trust and share updates on the pipeline. During reduced hiring periods, I stepped in as a project manager and served as a liaison between Moveworks’ product/engineering teams and our customers to ensure deliverables were properly communicated and met. By Q3, I also took on recruiting for Moveworks’ core infrastructure and machine learning teams
Supported recruiting for all roles under DocuSign’s Chief Information Officer and VP of Digital Experiences. Secured placements for a variety of talent ranging from senior level to director level. Made over 160 placements at DocuSign during my 3+ year tenure there.
Served as a technical recruiter for DocuSign’s machine learning, Information Security and IT teams. Had weekly syncs with stakeholders and reported directly to our SVP, Chief Trust and Security Officer. Partnered with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion director to create a sourcing guide that recruiters can use to target diversity talent. The guide included a comprehensive list of HBCU’s HSI’s, diversity collegiate groups in tech, etc. Hosted a training seminar for the TA team that taught attendees how to conduct a proper intake meeting with stakeholders to develop trust, understand requirements, and help sell whatever team/role they support. Created a talent mapping program for the Austin, TX metro area to justify DocuSign’s desire to create an office space in that area. The program consisted of a list of SaaS companies and strong engineering talent that were based in the Austin area. Delivered a personal best of 29 placements during Q3 of 2021
