Berkeley, California, United States
I am a recent UC Berkeley graduate with almost three years of administrative experience looking to gain exposure to both legal and professional settings. My background as an HR assistant and self-employed individual has prepared me for fast-paced, high-volume roles in both administrative and client-facing positions. I am a proven quick learner that balances a self-starting attitude with the necessary attention to detail needed when handling large amounts of detailed communication and documentation. I can work on my own, and I also understand the value of a team and asking questions.
As a legal proccessing assistant/file clerk for the Superior Court of California, Alameda County, I am responsible for the filing and proccessing of incoming legal documentation. I am specifically trained on the intiation and proccessing of temporary restraining orders at the counter. This includes civil harrassment, domestic violence, elder abuse, and workplace violence. I am also trained on some subsequent filings; this includes documents like declarations, memorandums of points and authorities, and proofs of service.
I currently run games of the tabletop roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons through a site called StartPlaying Games. They provide the merchant services and platform, and I provide everything else to run this service. I coordinate three weekly games. I currently manage the finances, game, and logistics of the operation.
My administrative duties included managing schedules, processing conduct reports, and organizing document filing. I specifically worked in the Abusive Conduct Office; I was the first to read cases and begin filing them.
I assisted in conducting fitness classes using administrative tools such as MINDBODY.
I was a warehouse associate at Amazon for the summer.
