I am associate attorney at Hale Ball Carlson Baumgartner Murphy, PLC, primary focused on litigation, particularly fiduciary matters. I also assist clients with estate planning. Previously I served as General Counsel for the Institute of International Banking Law & Practice, Inc. I have been a panelist and moderator at numerous trade finance seminars, including IIBLP Trade Based Financial Crime Compliance Workshops. I helped develop and launch the Certificate in Trade Finance Compliance (CTFC) certification course for trade finance professionals who require a knowledge of financial crime compliance. Through my work at the IIBLP I have knowledge on international trade finance law, financial crimes, while also handling the responsibilities of counsel for an non-profit organization. I have a B.A. in history from American University and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.
