Design for America is a national organization with chapters all over the country. Design for America is a group of diverse students who come from different majors, ideals, and skill sets. Each chapter uses human centered design methodologies to solve issues within the local community. My team tackled the issue of international and domestic student interaction. It is well known on campus throughout the country that international students choose not to or maybe struggle to interact with domestic students. The goal for our team was to break that barrier and promote interaction between students of all backgrounds.
As a Target employee I contribute to our daily operations to ensure that our guest have the best possible shopping experience. This includes making sure every guest is greeted with a simple hello. It also means making sure inventory is stocked, online orders and drive up orders are fulfilled on time, and that ailes are clean.
