I have a wide deep knowledge because IT has always been a passion for me since I was a child. Though my professional career was focused in Platform Systems at the begining, I've always been in touch with the application development as well. I have used it as part of my previous jobs, applying my development skills to platform solutions, and also as part of my personal life, where I have developed several applications for small/medium companies, a ZX Spectrum emulator for educational purposes, or a collaboration with the University of Oviedo to create an application to meassure and simulate noise in the cities. Inside Systems area I have worked with almost all the different technologies, and in very big and complex environments: Databases, Application Servers, Unix & Wintel Operative Systems, SAN & NAS Storage Systems, Backup, Networks, Physical RACK installations, private Cloud, virtualization, and many more. This has always been a differentiator from me, as my vision and knowledge of IT is very wide, and not limited to a specific area. Mi professional experience has been growing in responsabilities since the begining, starting as responsible of very specific services, then becoming the manager of systems in such important projects as the migration of healthcare systems in the Principalty of Asturias, the lead of UNIX team in the Zurich account for Europe, Lead of project deliver for Zurich Account, Delivery Lead of the Zurich account managing a support center with over 250 employees reporting to me, and now as Development Project Manager for QuironSalud.
