In the role as Head of Delivery Europe for onshore renewables projects I am responsible to deliver the growing portfolio of onshore solar, wind, battery storage and hybrid projects in Europe. In this role I am responsible for: • Building and operationalizing a European onshore power delivery organization tasked with delivering onshore renewable power plants • Making sure multiple high value projects are professionally project managed, from system design through to construction and handover phase such that they are delivered on time, to budget, with no compromise on safety and quality • Establishing a strong network of onshore renewables EPCs, Technical Consultants and Owners Engineers • Representing Shell in discussions with authorities, grid operators and stakeholders • Managing the European delivery team across multiple European countries, comprising of EPC managers, delivery engineers and C&P professionals • Overseeing the tendering, negotiation and post-award contract management processes
As the Project Manager of Pierce I was responsible to deliver the integrated wells, subsea and topsides scope of the reconfiguration of the Pierce asset. The Pierce field is produced via the Haewene Brim FPSO (leased from Bluewater), the Pierce project enables the production and export of gas via the FPSO. For this, new wells have been drilled, an export pipeline has been installed and the topsides are modified.
Managing the development of a gas field in the Dutch sector of the Southern North Sea. The project consists of a new platform, 3 new wells, a 12" pipeline and a connection to an existing facility. The project started execution in 2016 and produced first gas in summer 2018.
Worked in the Energy Practice, with a focus on oil and gas. Projects include: • Ran a performance improvement project for a National Oil Company in the Middle East • Developed and implemented a large transformation of a mid-sized European oil company • Supported a multinational oil and gas company with their Angola - Brazil strategy • Determined a 5 year strategic plan for a South American integrated oil and gas company • Supported an European energy company with improvement of their corporate risk function • Commercialization plan for a new Renewable Energy • Did a Petrochemical industry study on the benefits of integration with refining • Upstream concession renewal strategy for a National Oil Company in the Middle East • Did an internal study on the worldwide landscape of Power & Gas • Executed various portfolio studies and prioritized opportunities for various oil companies
Worked in three different roles within Exploration & Production: • Operations Support in Sour Gas Treatment Facilitiy GZI - 5 months - Troubleshooting operational issues and optimizing plant performance - Daily production forecasting - Implementing emission reducing measures - Quality checking and auditing plant modifications • Asset Onegas (Southern North Sea) - 1 year - New well hook-ups and subsea tieback projects - Convert pipelines and platforms to wet gas operation - Water injection projects - Supervising and HAZOPing contractors design work - Environmental reporting of emissions for trading scheme • Asset Land (Friesland & Groningen) - 1 year and 3 months - De-bottlenecking, production optimisation and compressor optimisation - Gas quality issues, delivery forecasts and business planning
Worked on the Production Optimization of the Glare production line for the Airbus A380. • Goal of assignment: reduction of scrapped product in the pre-treatment line • Activity: Improving the production line and increasing the efficiency and output • Outcome: over a period of 10 months the scrap rate reduced from 25% to 8%
