Most organizations building critical infrastructure face the same invisible problem: they hire brilliant engineers who can't speak to a board, or sharp strategists who've never stood in a data hall at 3am during an incident. That gap costs millions. I live within that gap — and I've spent two decades learning to close it. I don't just bridge engineering and business strategy. I translate both into predictable outcomes: multi-site operations across multiple geographies, significant CAPEX accountability, and the kind of people leadership that only works when the team trusts you completely. I design for engineers and budget for CFOs. I speak KWs and PUE as fluently as ROI and board-level accountability. The clearest test of that came on 28 April 2025, when Spain's national grid failed, I had 11 hours and 53 minutes to keep a major financial institution's entire EMEA data centre estate operational. We did. Not because of the systems — because of the team, the protocols, and the decisions made under pressure. That's what two decades across Spain, the UK, the Middle East and Latin America — from EPC projects in Abu Dhabi to banking-grade critical infrastructure — have built: a leader who is equally comfortable in the server room and the boardroom, and who knows that operational excellence is a culture, not a configuration.
Mainly, leading and coordinating the strategy for operation, sustainability and execution of capital projects for our both Data Centers HUBs Europe and LATAM. And on my day-by-day basis: ·Ensure Data Centre operations comply with our standards, local regulatos and policies. ·Lead the teams localy and remotely. ·Maintain vendors, suppliers and OEM relationships. ·Respond to site callouts. ·Oversee HSE for the different teams involved ·Accountable for Financial-Technical Synergy, driving project valuation by building comprehensive operational models (CAPEX/OPEX) and ensuring customer satisfaction while working on continuous improvement at any stages. ·Focal point for any Datacenter issue. ·Definetely I never get bored. Pasionate about Data Center sector and anything related to it.
