As a legislative aide I could gain experience on administration, research and analysis, public relations and communication, monitoring legislation, track issues specific to the legislator’s district, attend meetings and hearings and perform other information-gathering duties. My duty also include researches proposed legislation, works with committees to develop bills, garners support for the legislation and coordinates introduction of bills. Duties include tracking the progress of proposed and pending legislation and briefing the legislator and staff, write or proofread drafts of legislation, amendments, memoranda and legal documents. other duties include writing briefing reports, arranging for committee testimony, securing legal and supportive documents and preparing materials and presentations for committee meetings. The Entrepreneur, Workforce and Financial Committee is responsible to develop policies and overseas everything related to Entrepreneurship, Labor and Workforce and Financial of the Brazilian Community in the New England. As a Chairman of this important committee, I am responsible along with my other 6 colleges to develop policies that will protect the Brazilian community, as well create opportunity for American Investor to Invest in Brazil.
As a Chief of Staff , I was responsible for the operation of Rep. Matewsky Office At MA State House as well our District Office in Everett. Part of my responsibility was meet with interest group as well other legislator, Public Policies and Budged research, that included laws impact in the community and/or benefits. I also was the Office Internship Coordinator, Manager staff Schedule and supervise the Office operation.
