I have more than 19 years of experience in retrofit modifications for in service aircrafts, previously as Service Bulletin author and currently as a Design integrator for avionics and systems modifications for Airbus Upgrade Services. Design integrator coordinates and builds the technical dossier to deliver all information needed for authoring team. I ensure that the technical content of service bulletin is in accordance with technical dossier before authorities approval. I’m working on significant projects like SATCOM, tablet, ADSB-OUT and cabin modification.
• Design Integrator: o Collect and analyze all documents (TRS, MAS…) to build technical dossier o Define the configuration pre-mod and post-mod of aircraft o If no solutions applicable, creation of adaptation solutions to cover post modification state of aircraft (drawing creation, mod stack, TRS close to known) o Ensure the coordination (LM, IM, LOC) with the SB author and perform the SB quality check to secure that the SB includes the appropriate technical content • Technical Referent: o Responsible for skill ramp-up for extended team o Technical checks and co-assignee for complex topics o Technical support for extended team o Time estimation of work orders o Technical focal point for the work package leader and customer o Non conformity management (capitalization, training, action set up…) o Strenght of proposal for improvements and process optimization • Tools used : GILDA, CIRCE, SAP (AP1, PCS), NACRE, ICC, AIRINA, AIRNAV, IAMT, SBEDCI, EMMA
• Write Service Bulletin for all aircraft AIRBUS fleet • Analyse inputs technical datas (TRS and MAS, preparation sheet, SBCR…) • Perform analysis of electrical and mechanical drawings (define pre/post modification) • Make the list of components necessary to apply modification (including SDF) • Support during embodiement of modification on aircraft (SABENA TECHNICS) • Participate in Fuel Tank Inerting System project (preparation, analyze, authoring and coordination for all NATCO) • Tools used : GILDA, CIRCE, SAP, NACRE, ICC, ZAMIZ, AIRNAV, IAMT, CCT
