Julien is a General Partner at 20VC, where he focuses on seed & pre-seed investments. He is also cofounder of Slashwork, a company incubated by 20VC. He led 20VC's investments in Bottlecap AI (🇨🇿), Archastro (🇺🇸), Altertable (🇫🇷), Dataware (🇷🇸), Requesty (🇬🇧) and AMI Labs (🇫🇷). Before VC, he spent 11 years at Facebook as a Vice President, and prior to that was director of business development at Microsoft, where he created and launched the BizSpark global startup program. Since 2012, Julien has been a board member of the French media group Le Monde. He also co-authored the book "The Kelkoo.com Success Story," which was published by Pearson in 2005. He was an early investor in TripleDot Studios, Pigment, Nabla, Statsig (Acq by OpenAI), Luna Labs (Acq by Ironsource), Lifen, Linktree, Bloom & Wild, GoJob (Acq by Persol), Anybuddy, Cycle (Acq by Atlassian), Olio, Bereal (Acq by Voodoo), Deliveroo, Upway and Pieces.app.
Led 20VC investments in Bottlecap AI (🇨🇿), Archastro (🇺🇸), Altertable (🇫🇷), Dataware (🇷🇸), Requesty (🇬🇧) and AMI Labs (🇫🇷). Cofounded and incubated Slashwork in London with a few friends & ex-colleagues from facebook.
