About

Please see my consulting website Deep Learning Answers: https://deeplearninganswers.com My recent work in Deep Learning analysis of brain MRI's resulted in the second highest test Dice score in the ongoing ISLES2017 contest for delimiting strokes. https://github.com/julie1/Capstone-Project-Deep-Learning-Analysis-of-Brain-Pathologies My background includes research as a postdoc in theoretical physics; obtaining funding, organizing, and starting the construction of a dormitory for Beninese students wishing to obtain an education while I was teaching in French as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin; and research in cell biology and biochemistry. I have also studied a number of mathematical subjects on my own. I am an avid runner, biker, and skier and have previously done marathons and triathlons as well as played for the Yale field hockey team. Besides machine learning and deep learning, I am interested in quantum computing.
