Served in a leadership role within LFBO supervision in direct support of the LFBO Risk Coordination Group (RCG). Responsible for LFBO risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation.
Served as a Project Director within the LFBO Risk Coordination Group (RCG), a senior leadership group responsible for risk identification, monitoring, and supervisory planning for large domestic and foreign banking organizations.

Responsible for the supervision of legal and compliance risks for an LCBO, including compliance with Bank Secrecy and Anti-Money Laundering rules and regulations. Responsible for assessing the overall adequacy of the legal and compliance risk management structure, staffing practices, and management and board reporting. Directly responsible for the oversight of compliance with Interagency Incentive Compensation guidance issued in June 2010, which included participation in a horizontal review of incentive compensation practices for the country's top 25 largest financial institutions. Responsible for the oversight of international merchant processing operations. In coordination with the OCC and quantitative System examination staff, evaluated compliance with Basel II requirements as it relates to Retail Banking.
Served as a safety and soundness examiner for both the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis (2004 - 2006) and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (2001 - 2002). Primary responsiblities included the assessment of capital, asset quality, management, earnings, liquidity, and sensitivity levels and assocatiated risk management practices. Conducted financial analysis and loan reviews and assigned supervisory ratings to financial institutions within the Minneapolis and Chicago Reserve Districts.
Responsible for a wide variety of supervisory related activities and oversight for a large and complex banking organization (Bank One) previously headquartered in the Chicago Reserve District, which was merged into JP Morgan Chase in roughly late 2004.
Responsible for the assessment of compliance with Federal consumer related laws and regulations, including those focused on consumer protection. Assessed compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) through data analysis and review and meetings with members of local communities. Assigned Consumer and CRA ratings to financial insitutions within the 9th Reserve District. Responsible for remaining abreast of bank progress against outstanding issues and matters requiring bank management attention.
