IT Client Computing Support: • Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing user hardware and software. Reimaging machines, thereafter, executing various scripting methods to connect with the domain, ensuring all aspects are updated (security updates , patches, drivers, etc.), and coordinating with the user for deployment • Reconfigured divisional scripts in PowerShell to route through the network drive and updated older scripts with the modern versions of software and drivers • Coordinated with Networking team regarding NAC issues, configuring hostnames and IP. Created and deployed printer driver packages for remote installation on all machines equipped for the specific printer • Built a server to manage all applications, and scripts for all City Hall clients, with the ability to map as a network drive to execute the various scripts remotely on a machine. 2023 Mayoral Elections - Remote Transmission Officer (RTO): • Ensured the smooth transfer of electronic ballot data for Wards 2 and 3 during the 2023 mayoral election in Toronto. Used software to handle ballot numbers from various USBs securely. • Worked well with on-site runners to ensure timely data transfer, addressing technical issues promptly. Played a key role in accurately reporting election results. Modern Toronto / Return to Office - MTO/RTO Project: • Supported City Hall & Metro Hall, for return to office hardware fit-ups/software setups/modernized workspace transition.
