I like working on problems that matter to humans. In 2024, I realised that the only thing that really matters is health. That year I co-founded Asterix Health at Entrepreneur First with Max Thilo. Asterix is solving the biggest problem in healthcare: The shortage of qualified clinical workforce. This problem is personal to me. Accessing preventative healthcare diagnosed my heart valve issue, but at-scale preventative healthcare available to the public is bottlenecked by the lack of qualified clinical workforce, at a feasible cost. The same goes for accessing reactive healthcare. At Asterix, we're taking a novel approach to solve this problem by combining a highly-qualified, GP-level workforce based abroad with modern technology. We are the only company in the UK approved to use a recent regulatory change that enables this model. Before this, I spent 6 years in early-stage technology. At 18 I got my first taste of building as employee #5 of a PropTech company. At 22, I led product + half the engineering team of a leading US fintech as we scaled from $50M to $150M AUM. At 23, I co-founded a telco for which we raised $3M in the US. I grew up in Germany and the UK, and have now spent half my life here.
