About

Julian Starks is an entrepreneur, visual storyteller, creative director, and founder of Shades of Color — a global sports and lifestyle apparel movement inspired by culture, unity, identity, and the world’s game: football. With a background spanning photography, publishing, branding, entertainment, artificial intelligence, and humanitarian storytelling, Julian has spent decades building projects that connect people through emotion, creativity, and purpose. As the founder of Visions of the World Inc., Julian became internationally recognized for powerful wildlife photography and storytelling projects focused on conservation, humanity, and the relationship between people and the natural world. His work has evolved into a broader mission: using art, technology, fashion, and media to inspire global connection and cultural pride. Shades of Color represents the next evolution of that vision. More than a clothing brand, Shades of Color is a movement built around diversity, passion, athletic culture, and international unity. Centered around the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the rapidly growing global football community, the brand blends bold streetwear aesthetics with the emotional power of sport and identity. Through original apparel collections, storytelling campaigns, partnerships, and media initiatives, Shades of Color aims to unite fans from every nation under one message: the world is stronger in color, culture, and character. The brand’s “We Call It Soccer Baby” campaign reflects the spirit of modern football culture while embracing the energy of fans across the United States, Europe, Africa, South America, and beyond. Julian’s vision is to build Shades of Color into a globally recognized sports apparel and lifestyle company that transcends fashion and becomes part of a cultural movement leading into FIFA 2026, followed by a strategic three-year global brand expansion building through the 2027 Super Bowl and the 2028 Olympic Games all three events in Los Angeles. Today, Julian is actively seeking strategic investors, brand partners, manufacturers, operators, athletes, influencers, and global collaborators who believe in building a powerful multicultural brand at the intersection of sports, fashion, media, and purpose.

Description Founder | CEO | Photographer | Filmmaker | Animal Activist | Storyteller As the Founder and Executive Director of Visions of the World Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, I use my passion for photography and filmmaking to drive wildlife conservation awareness and education through powerful visual storytelling. My fine art photography books, LIFE Behind Bars Vol. 1 and the upcoming LIFE Behind Bars…Except if You’re Free Vol. 2, highlight both the beauty and vulnerability of wild animals in captivity and in the wild. Vol. 1 features animals in sanctuaries and zoos across the U.S., with proceeds supporting the institutions featured. Vol. 2 takes our mission global, documenting the conservation efforts for gorillas and big cats in Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania—places where I will photograph and film animals in their natural habitat. I also launched The Kings of Beasts, a 54,000-piece NFT campaign inspired by the lions and tigers of Vol. 1, bridging fine art with digital innovation to fund conservation. As part of this initiative, three lucky NFT holders will join me on a once-in-a-lifetime African safari to assist in creating the next volume and docu-series. With a background as a filmmaker, editor, producer, and actor, I create emotionally driven content and high-impact campaigns across media platforms. I’m currently expanding our reach on platforms like BookTok and LinkedIn to inspire global audiences to fall in love with wildlife and take meaningful action.
