I am an incoming Brown University student and U.S. Army ROTC 4-year scholarship recipient with a desire to learn about dialogue facilitation and cross-border peace work, particularly in the Middle East. I am especially motivated by work that centers human connection and learning across difference in polarized and emotionally charged contexts. My experience to date includes student-led dialogue initiatives, classroom education focused on reducing bias, and participation in immersive educational programs in Israel/Palestine and the U.S.–Mexico border region. Through these opportunities, I have focused on listening to diverse perspectives, supporting respectful conversation, and building foundational skills in communication, facilitation, and collaboration. I am eager to continue learning with organizations focused on dialogue and reconciliation across borders.
