Worked in the sport apparel department along side the Raw Materials team. Attended cross-functional design meetings to advise on chosen fabric performance. Was in direct contact with suppliers overseas to initiate garment testing, lab dips, and fabric pass-off approvals. All data was organized in FlexPLM database. Completed an intern project exploring the benefits of integrating recycled polyester fabric in garment production.
Responsible for keeping material library organized and current. Created a system for keeping track of archival fabrics. Regularly communicated with interior designers/architects to assist in choosing upholstery fabric for upcoming projects. Advised based on end use, aesthetics, and fabric performance.
