Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family business founded in 1989, I spent weekends at open houses with my parents. Even so, I always wanted to forge my own path before joining the industry. After traveling and connecting with investors and professionals from around the world, I was repeatedly encouraged to pursue real estate because of my passion for working with people. In 2024, I earned my real estate license and joined Gil & Gil Group Corp, where I have the privilege of continuing my family's legacy of serving the Chicagoland community. Long before I started in Real Estate, I discovered another calling: education. In 2014, I began volunteering in a special education classroom and established one of the first inclusion classrooms at Niles West High School. That experience led me to earn the SETTW full-ride scholarship to Illinois State University, where I received my bachelor's degree in special education (LBS1). Today, I am a Chicago Public School teacher for second and third grade special education. Although real estate and teaching are seemingly different worlds, my experiences have intertwined because of my values. Whether I'm helping a family find the right home or helping a student reach a new milestone, I believe meaningful relationships come first. I take the time to truly understand what matters most to the people I work with, earn their trust through honesty and authenticity, and create an environment where they feel heard, respected, and supported. My Colombian heritage and faith continue to shape the way I approach both my personal and professional life. Outside of work, you'll usually find me exploring Chicago coffee shops in search of the perfect iced dirty chai, expressing creativity through fashion, or spending time with the people I love.
