Laboratory Demonstrator, Workshop Leader, Tutor and Substitute Lecturer for: 1016MSC: Anatomy and Physiology Systems 1 and 1017MSC: Anatomy and Physiology Systems 2 Responsibilities Include: • Preparing and invigilating weekly workshops and tutorials • Preparing engaging laboratory presentations and demonstrations to provide to students • Continually maintaining optimal student engagement and involvement within the laboratory and classroom environment to enhance learning outcomes • Marking first year examinations • Regularly and effectively liaising and communicating with other academic staff to optimise workflow • Invigilating first year examinations • Regularly providing students with personalized feedback and guidance to facilitate self-directed learning
Responsibilities Include: • Operating a point of sale (POS) system • Providing exceptional quality customer service • Operating a cash register/cash handling • Responding to customer inquiries promptly and to the highest standard • Maintenance of customer self-service terminals • Minimising loss through theft by maintaining high vigilance and attention at all times • Undertaking daily cleaning tasks and duties • Actively contributing to a multidisciplinary team • Regularly and effectively liaising and communicating with other team members to optimise workflow • Updating inventory listings • Updating price listings • Creating aesthetically pleasing floor fixtures • Applying discretionary discounting as required • Preparing fruit and vegetables for sale • Consistently adhering to all food safety standards • Fundamental understanding of store operations • Maintaining, troubleshooting and fixing self- checkout terminals promptly and to an excellent standard
