Belmont, California, United States
I have been an occupational therapist for nearly 12 years, specializing in pediatric populations with neurodiversity and a wide range of skill sets. I am proficient at standardized assessments, clinical reasoning, and interventions in motor development and sensory integration (SI). I have extensive experience in various therapy modalities, including SI-based equipment, handwriting without tears, motor games, art, music, and yoga. I have certification in Sensory Integration Praxis Test (SIPT) and am getting re-certificated by the updated SI program provided at USC. I have knowledge of feeding protocols and oral motor assessment and intervention and have worked with picky eaters and their families. I am fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. I am passionate about providing parent coaching for Mandarin-speaking immigrant families with children with neurodiverse conditions, empowering them with the knowledge, resources, and services available to them in the Bay Area, CA. I am a mom of three boys, and they are 7, 4, and 1 year old. We enjoy making omelets and waffles on Saturday mornings and going for hikes. Lately, we have been exploring and camping in the nearby state parks.
