I didn't plan to end up in immigration law — I got pulled in by it. I started out in customer service, moved into virtual assistance, then found my way into a small immigration firm where something clicked. As a Colombian who grew up navigating two languages and two worlds, I understood what it felt like to sit across from a client who was scared, confused, and hoping someone would actually get it. I became that person for them. Since then, I've built my career entirely around immigration, moving from legal assistant to paralegal across firms of all sizes — from tight-knit boutique practices to a team of over 2,000. Along the way I've worked across the full humanitarian spectrum: asylum, T visas, U visas, VAWA, BIA appeals, 9th Circuit cases, and now removal proceedings. Today I specialize in removal defense — drafting strategies, analyzing documents, prepping for hearings, and keeping clients informed every step of the way. I work best with attorneys who value precision, directness, and someone who takes ownership of their caseload. If that sounds like your team, let's connect.
