My position is to support in all aspect of Health & Safety & Quality issues. The other responsibility I held are also : • To maintain a safety culture in the company • Assuring a safe and health workplace for employees • Coordinate the committee and others activities ( i.e : Fire Drills, Fire Extinguisher Renewal, and others. ) • Organize Safety Campaign, Yearly OSH Plan and enforce PPE usage • Coordinate emergency evacuation drill & fire training • Conduct Firefighting Equipment Inspection, First Aid Inspection and Workplace Inspection • Keeping track of employees training validity and also manhours. • In charge of organizing employees passes and safety training. • Conduct and coordinate HSE meetings and training guideline. • Conduct all programs in OSH Plan (Eg. Organized safety awareness & World Safety Day 2019) • Assisting OHS/QMS Executive in conducting Internal Quality Audit for ISO 9001 : 2015 & OHSAS 18001 : 2007 • Ensuring and follow-up on all Non-Conforming (NCR) corrective actions to be implemented effectively. • Assist with External Audit & also doing documents change for registered forms, manual & procedure.
During my internship, I was under the company Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Department. My main tasks was to implement Organizational HSSE Programs, monitor employees’ general well-being at work, and uphold a safe working environment. Other than that, my responsibilities also includes : • Shall report to Health and Safety Executives • Partake in Toolbox meeting daily by sharing any issues/knowledge relating with Safety and Health • To assist with coordination of Scheduled Waste area and disposal management. • To participate in monthly Site Inspections Visit and create report for it. • Conduct monthly Fire Extinguisher Inspection and assist with Fire Drills and report. • Collecting “Accident Control Technique” (A.C.T) records submission from the employees and record it • To enforce existing in-house policies as well as ones promoted by the clientele • In charge of briefing safety induction to new employees • Assist with conducting Pre-Mob Briefing to staff • Promoting an efficient Health and Safety culture at work • To ensure employees are adequately equipped with Personal Protective Equipment pertaining to their tasks and request • Partake Mass Toolbox Meeting conduct by Client. • Joining and assist with Dept. meeting, Safety Committee and ETC.
