As a passionate engineer and scientist with a business and techno-economic background, I love to work at the interface between customers, research teams, and production environments. Over the past seven years, I’ve specialized in bio-based product development, including innovative paper materials, cellulose membranes, and sustainable carbon-based systems for energy storage devices. With a joint PhD from TU Graz and Aalto University, completed in an industry-related environment, my work bridges the gap between academic innovation and industrial application. I’ve led small development teams, contributed to international collaborations, and presented award-winning research at global conferences. I’m dedicated to making complex ideas accessible, whether teaching, presenting, or collaborating across disciplines. I continue to strengthen my leadership and project-management skills and have worked directly with industry partners in the pulp & paper, packaging, and renewable materials sectors to help drive meaningful innovation. Core strengths: • Biopolymers, pulp & paper, and renewable materials • Man-made cellulosic fibers: Viscose, Lyocell and Ioncell • Technical investigations, testing and pro active problem-solving • Energy storage materials (batteries, supercapacitors, carbon materials) • Project management, leadership & interdisciplinary teamwork • Technical communication & public presentation • Process optimization & upcycling of industrial side-streams
