The Vice President of Education serves as the primary architect for the chapter’s educational and developmental strategy, ensuring every member aligns with the core values of Beta Theta Pi through a comprehensive, year-round learning plan. This executive role demands high-level coordination of the Scholarship and Diversity and Inclusion committees to foster an environment of academic excellence and cultural awareness. A critical component of the position involves designing a New Member Education program that meets the General Fraternity’s assessment standards and adheres strictly to Temple University's Fraternity and Sorority Life regulations. Beyond foundational training, the Vice President manages the Big Brother and Little Brother mentorship program, oversees all induction and initiation rituals in partnership with the Ritual Chairman, and ensures the chapter maintains full administrative compliance via the MyBeta reporting system.
Opened and closed the pool daily, took chlorine and ph tests of the pool 3 times a day and logged the numbers, assured pool goer safety in and out of the water, maintained a clean pool and pool deck.
I lifeguarded the practices and ensured safety in and out of the pool by using first aid when necessary.
Financial Data Management: Optimized the transition of physical records to digital formats by accurately inputting and transforming data from paper logs into Microsoft Excel, ensuring data integrity for the accounting division. Audit Support: Assisted the accounting team with internal audits, providing organized documentation and verified data sets to ensure compliance with Department of Social Services standards. Technical Skill Development: Completed advanced Excel training to enhance proficiency in data organization, formula usage, and information logging. Digital Transformation: Streamlined office workflows by scanning and indexing confidential case files onto the secure online server, improving document accessibility and department-wide organization. Administrative Collaboration: Worked under the supervision of senior accounting staff to maintain precise records and support the daily financial operations of a large government agency.
