I am an Architect and Process Architect with over thirty years of experience in the profession. Responsible for all phases of design including master planning, programming, conceptual design, schematics, design development, construction documentation and construction administration. Most of my projects have been front end concept work for the science and technology sector, including projects for pharmaceutical, biotech and consumer products clients in North America, Europe and Asia. I am an expert in process facilities and laboratory design, meeting cGMP, cGLP requirements and the FDA, NIH, PIC/S, WHO and EU regulations. Although, most of my projects have been for the science and technology sector, I also have experience and keen interest in other types of projects, including health care, hospitality, residential, commercial, corporate, educational, governmental and institutional projects. Having worked in Singapore for the last nine years, I am thoroughly familiar with the construction industry and the authority approval process here. Sustainable design is a special area of expertise for me, being a LEED AP.
Life science and high tech industrial projects for MNC clients in Singapore and SE Asia. Recent projects in Singapore include: Menicon, Singapore (2012-13) I was the Lead Architect for the concept design and design development of this 6-story, 11,000 square meter contact lens production facility to be located in Innovation Park in Jurong. Givaudan, Singapore (2012-13) I was the Lead Architect for basic design, master planning and detail design of this 32,000 square meter fragrance production facility and a state of the art Creative Center. The latter includes conference facilities, offices and creative laboratories. The project was designed to reach Green Mark Gold Plus certification. Confidential, US based NMC, Singapore (2012) I was Lead Process Architect for the concept design and master planning of this 40,000 square meters nutritional production facility to be located in Tuas. The project includes process areas, packaging areas, QC and microbiology laboratories, administration areas, employee facilities, maintenance/ utility areas, warehouse and a central utility plant.
