As Professor for International Industrial Sourcing & Sales and closely engaged with industry networks, I work with companies, leaders, and students to turn sustainability from a compliance topic into a strategic driver of innovation, competitiveness, and long-term value. My work bridges supply chains, technology, education, and human development — because real transformation is never just technical, it’s systemic and cultural. A lifelong learner with roots in economics with focus on production management, pedagogy, technical compliance, linguistics and international business, I work across disciplines, industries, and cultures and combine scientific thinking, practical experience, and creativity to rethink how we connect economy, people, and planet. My activities at HTW involve various exciting fields of interdisciplinary education, industrial research and international cooperation with focus on Holistic sustainability.
Contributed to the design and development of an interdisciplinary, part-time doctoral programme, integrating engineering sciences and business/management disciplines with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
Held overall responsibility for technical regulation and compliance management across complex industrial projects, ensuring alignment with applicable national and international standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
Manager of an international consulting firm specialising in technical compliance, quality management, and conformity assessment for industrial plants in chemical/petrochemical, oil and gas sector. Built and managed long-term partnerships with internationally operating industrial clients from Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
