I am Chief Revenue Officer at EthiFinance, a European rating, research and advisory group serving sustainable finance and sustainable development. I lead the company's Revenue team, covering Marketing & Comms, Business Development, Sales and Client Succes functions, a team of 20+ experts. Previously, I have led EthiFinance's ESG Rating Agency, covering ESG ratings, data, asssessments and opinions. I have acted as appointed member of the German government's Sustainable Finance Commission from 2022 to 2025, and as appointed member of the French market regulator’s (Autorité des Marches Financiers) Sustainable Finance Commission from 2019 to 2022. I represent EthiFinance as board member of the French Sustainable Investment Forum (FIR) and am elected chair of the board of EASRA, the European Asociation of Sustainability Rating Agencies. I am co-author of the book "L'Entreprise Légère", which I have written with my friend Basile Gueorguievsky, and that has been published by Delachaux & Niestlé in 2010. Overall, I have more than 30 years of experience in Sustainability. I have held senior client facing, market strategy and product development related roles within ESG rating and research institutions over a period of 15 years: - Moody’s ESG Solutions - ISS ESG - oekom research I have been working in Sustainability, CSR and ESG since the early 1990s, when I started as a researcher, first at the German Wuppertal Institute and then at Versailles University in France, where I completed her PhD thesis in Environmental Economics. I later joined the French consulting firm O2 France as a consultant advising corporates on environmental and sustainability strategy and environmentally friendly product design. I contributed to building and rolling out the French postal operator Groupe La Poste’s CSR strategy, before joining the global environmental NGO WWF, where my role was to lead the Paris-based team in charge with managing corporate relations, sustainability partnerships and corporate fundraising. Led EthiFinance’s ESG Rating Agency, managing a team of 30 analysts and methodology experts delivering sustainability ratings, second-party opinions, taxonomy alignment and climate assessments. Drove the redesign of rating methodologies, launched new products, and prepared the organisation for upcoming European ESG rating regulation.
Advised the CEO on strategic positioning, including a comprehensive review of EthiFinance’s ESG offering, organisational structure, and market landscape. Led a market study on the ESG ratings industry and shaped recommendations for future growth.
Elected Board Member at the French Sustainable Investment Forum (FIR), representing EthiFinance. Contributing to the development and promotion of responsible investment practices in France through engagement with industry stakeholders.
Elected Chair of the Board of EASRA, the European Association of Sustainability Rating Agencies. Leading the association’s strategic agenda, representing members towards regulators and stakeholders, and contributing to the development of a transparent and robust ESG ratings market in Europe.
Member of the German Government’s Sustainable Finance Advisory Council, contributing to policy recommendations on sustainable finance strategy, regulatory developments, and market practices. Participated in a multi-stakeholder platform advising the government on strengthening Germany’s position as a leading sustainable finance hub.
As the founder of Bhumi Consulting, I advised senior leadership across banks, investment managers, and sustainability rating agencies on strategic positioning and ESG developments and conducted independent reviews of ESG reports for asset managers.
