    Facilitated development of a community coalition focused on fostering a "culture of health" in the city of Orange, NJ. The 4 year initiative was funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Orange was one of 10 low-income communities in New Jersey selected as the initial group to develop a new approach to improving health outcomes, based on building coalitions that involve all sectors of the community. RWJF brought in the Center for Creative Leadership to teach core teams from each community the methods of Boundary-Spanning Leadership in order to provide the tools for building lasting coalitions based on shared Direction, Alignment and Commitment. As Community Coach, my role was to assist the coalition to use the Boundary-Spanning Leadership tools. As strategic planning consultant, I facilitated the development and implementation of a 3 year "Blueprint for Action" to build the culture of health.
