About

Member of the Legal Service of the European Commission. I joined the Commission through the Junior Professionals Programme (JPP), a highly competitive scheme that selects 25 young professionals each year to rotate across two Directorates-General, building cross-service experience before returning to contribute to their DG of origin. As part of the programme, I rotated in the Secretariat-General of the Commission, within the Coreper I team, and in the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Prior to joining the Commission, I served as Junior Advisor in the European Affairs Department of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Spain. I hold an LL.M. in EU Law from the College of Europe (Bruges) and a dual Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. My Master's thesis was awarded the Jacques Delors Prize for the best thesis on a subject related to the European project. Beyond my professional career, I co-founded Equipo Europa, the Spanish pro-European youth organisation with over 7,000 members, and served as its President for three years. I also served as a member of the High-Level Advisory Group on the Conference on the Future of Europe.
