About

I focus my practice on complex litigation, with an emphasis on securities and shareholder litigation, as well as corporate investigation matters. I have substantial experience with securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, books-and-records demands, and investigations conducted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ). I maintain an active pro bono practice, representing clients in immigration and civil rights litigation. I have first-chaired a trial team that secured a grant of asylum and have successfully defended several clients' relief before the Board of Immigration Appeals. I also served as lead counsel at a bond hearing that resulted in a client's release from custody after a federal court granted the client's petition for a writ of habeas corpus.
