I have been engaged in and passionate about building relationships for the past 40+ years and no matter where I have worked the one thing that has always been most important to me are the people! My clients who are sometimes the owners, presidents, managers, support staff or the wonderful, helpful receptionist all have made my work in business development so rewarding and I am fortunate to call many of them my friend! My career began as a Dietary Technician for 15 years in various health care institutions making sure that wholesome, healthy and nutirtious food was being served to patients and staff. My next wonderful experieince was working as a Food Service Sales Representative with Dairyworld Foods for 7 exciting years. It was amazing being involved in R & D creating new products for hospitals, nursing homes, schools and institutions. Of course when you love food and cooking, you should open up a cafe in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast, right? So for 3 years my husband and I owned and operated 'The Mother Earth Cafe' serving handmade, real food and encouraging music, arts, theatre and laughter at our beloved venue. A major segway landed me in the recruitment industry and specifically, Business Development. I am curious and love learning peoples' stories! I began with Design Group/Placement Group, than Diversified Satffing and finally Executrade. There was a little 4 year side-step in those years working for one of my greatest joys; CKUA Radio Network as a Corporate Sponsorship Manager. And now, I am thrilled to be launching PatersonHam Recruitment Group with a wonderful, talented colleague, Nichole Paterson. The truth is, it is never too late to follow your dreams!
