Mechanical Engineer with a Master in Petroleum Engineering from Curtin University (Australia), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Trilingual (Spanish – English – French). With relevant Experience as Staff Engineer specially in the inspection of onshore//offshore drilling rigs in Australia and as Project Engineer assuring process quality (QA/QC) under international standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI, API) in manufacturing and oil and gas. I am a proactive person with great teamwork spirit, who can also work independently and with the ability to meet objectives, get things done and adapt to different situations and cultures.
• Approach technical challenges and questions regarding rig equipment standards, well control, legislation and integrity for different clients in the oil and gas industry. • Assist field surveyors with support and resolution of technical issues following international standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI, API). • Keep the ModuSpec’s checklist updated by incorporating new engineering documentation, surveyor comments and every other applicable supplement. • Development of new checklists by gathering information and transform the information to applicable questions for the checklist structure. • Catalog and update the technical library, with national and international onshore and offshore legislation. • Assist with marketing efforts.
• Coordinate technical activities on assigned projects. Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute assigned engineering work. • Application of Six Sigma Methodology to optimise resource allocations on projects. • Develop and maintain Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) on assigned projects. • Review of product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. • Develop and maintain process documentation for standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949. • Follow up of suppliers’ deliveries. • Update and prepare reports for clients in MS Excel.
