Responsible for the repair, maintenance, testing, and inspection of all grade crossing warning, train control devices, and communication facilities located along the railroad system (i.e. automatic block signal systems, traffic control systems, train control and cab signal systems, interlocking systems, railway highway grade crossing protection, and other similar devices, appliances and systems). Documents work activities and inspections in accordance with Railroad, State Department of Transportation (DOT), and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) requirements. Responds to trouble calls regarding signal failures during and outside of normal work hours
