Juan is an experienced enterprise-wide architect with a solid background in consultancy, research, and IT. Experience in working for several different companies and governmental organizations. Varying from small to large and complex companies’ environments. Job titles include Enterprise architect, head of architecture, process coordinator, business analyst, and researcher. Good communication and presentation skills. Experience in giving talks and workshops at (international) conferences and within projects. Juan contributed to these significant developments: ArchiMate: helped define the first version of the enterprise architecture modeling language. MoCha: defined an academic model and implemented a middleware for the orchestration of complex distributed systems. DigiD: innovating and improving as an architect the identity management platform of the Dutch government. Used by millions of Dutch residents when using governmental digital services. PDOK: enterprise architect of the program that created the leading platform (PDOK) for high-quality geodata in the Netherlands. CNO: enterprise architect of the Cloud Native Overheid (Standaard Platform). Both a private Cloud and a governmental standard (in the making) for the use of cloud technology within the Dutch government. Based on Kubernetes and using the Cloud Native Computing Foundation as a reference. Gezagsmodule: Enterprise architect and business owner of the Authority Determination for Minors IT module. Research and development stages. Currently in use by the Dutch Police and the Royal Netherlands Marechausse.
