Solo developer of Astiar RPG, a cross-platform Action RPG (Diablo 2-inspired) developed with Godot 4.4 and launched on iOS, Android and itch.io. Game Engineering & Architecture: Designed and implemented complex core systems (inventory, combat, looting) using Godot Engine (GDScript). Automation & Tooling: Developed custom Python scripts to automate the asset pipeline, including parsing CSVs for item data and managing .tres resource files, streamlining the development workflow. Infrastructure Management and Cost Optimization: I manage a robust AWS infrastructure with more than 400 EC2 instances. Together with my team, we implemented strategic cost-optimization practices where we managed to downscale our costs by 25%, without compromising on performance or availability. DevOps/SRE Toolkit: I led the Jenkins pipeline's development and optimization, which significantly increased the speed and agility of our deployments. I played a pivotal role in transitioning to an IaC model using Terraform and Ansible, significantly streamlining operations and enhancing scalability. Additionally, by integrating Prometheus, I enabled real-time monitoring of our system’s health, ensuring that we could catch possible issues before they could impact performance.
